013, Combat Power Increased to 2 Stars!

Seeing the four attributes soar to such heights, Qi Ran felt a surge of joy within. The passionate electronic voice continued unabated.
【Beep beep beep beep!! Beep beep beep beep!!】
【Detected changes in the tester’s stamina, strength, agility, and mental power! Reassessing combat power!】
【Assessment complete! The tester’s combat star rating has changed!】
【Tester’s combat power has risen to 2 stars!!】
Wow! The combat power had actually reached 2 stars! To put this in perspective, the zombie thralls under Qi Ran’s contract only ever achieved a top rating of zero stars!
Qi Ran’s heart blazed with excitement as she quickly opened her personal attribute panel to check.
Under combat power assessment, it now read:
【Combat Power Assessment: 2 stars! (Like an insignificant ant)】
Even with 2 stars, the alliance’s evaluation still dismissed her as insignificant as an ant. Qi Ran sighed resignedly in her heart. It seemed the path to strength was long and arduous.
In her previous life, the combat power assessment had never been so detailed. Before her death, her combat power was 52 stars! She could only guess what kind of evaluation the alliance would have given that.
Meanwhile, the passionate electronic voice rang out once more:
【Friendly reminder: Tester’s rapid advancement and excellent performance detected! For the three days prior to Blue Star’s awakening, each level gained or every change in combat power evaluation will grant the tester generous rewards from the alliance!】
Wow! Qi Ran was puzzled, but to her surprise, the enthusiastic voice immediately explained everything clearly in her mind.
So, every time she leveled up or her combat evaluation changed, she would receive a generous reward from the alliance. However, these rewards were only available during the three days leading up to Blue Star’s awakening—essentially, the three days before the apocalypse struck.
Changing the combat power evaluation, however, seemed an uphill battle. Based on her experience from the previous life, at least three of the four stats—stamina, strength, agility, and mental power—had to reach 50 or multiples of 50 for the star rating to increase.
The zombie thralls, despite their stamina at 50 and strength at 52, only earned a top rating of zero stars because their agility was a mere 8 and mental power zero.
Qi Ran’s stamina was now a fixed 230, but her other attributes averaged just over 120, so her combat rating remained at 2 stars.

Each level gained—from 0 to 1, 1 to 2, and 2 to 3—only increased each of the four attributes by 5 points during the first three levels. Beyond level 3, the attribute gains would become more significant.
Even so, to raise her combat power from 2 stars to 3 stars relying solely on leveling up, Qi Ran would need to reach level 6 at least.
Even if she reached 3 stars, her combat evaluation might still not change.
Qi Ran, sharp and attentive, never missed a key piece of information from the impassioned electronic voice. She remembered clearly: the alliance’s generous gifts were only triggered when the combat evaluation itself changed.
The combat evaluation was the somewhat harsh label following the star rating—in her case, still “like an insignificant ant.”
Though her combat power jumped from 0 to 2 stars, the evaluation remained unchanged.
Thus, achieving an alliance reward through changing the combat evaluation was a difficult feat.
However, leveling up was no challenge for a significantly strengthened Qi Ran.
She eagerly rubbed her hands together, brimming with anticipation, almost like she had been injected with adrenaline!
After leveling up, Qi Ran’s condition returned to its peak once more.
To fully exhaust her ample stamina, she abandoned the cautious, energy-saving fighting style she had cultivated through years of hardship in the previous apocalyptic crisis.
Instead, she fought with bold, sweeping movements, aiming to slay as many zombies as possible.
This was an aggressive approach, but to maximize gains, Qi Ran did not hesitate to discard the ingrained habits forged through a decade of survival by the fittest.
Every habit she had developed was meant to keep her alive, but now, fueled by determination, she pursued greater rewards by fighting with full force.

She would choose to give her all without hesitation.
Qi Ran had never been stubborn or inflexible. If she encountered the dangerous, hunted circumstances of her past life again, she could always adjust her approach with a little effort.
Regarding the zombie thralls, aware that some of the zombies they killed would be credited to her, Qi Ran no longer ordered them to hold back for her protection.
Instead, she issued a new command:
【Slay zombies with full force!!】
At this point, Qi Ran’s combat power far surpassed that of the zombie thralls, making their close protection unnecessary.
Upon receiving her command, the zombie thralls attacked the zombies in the commercial street like wild beasts among sheep, their victims screaming miserably.
Five minutes passed swiftly.
Once again, the passionate electronic voice sounded:
【Beep beep beep beep!! Beep beep beep beep!!】
【Detected tester successfully slaughtered 803 zombies! Enough energy gained to level up!】
【Host may choose: 1. Level up! 2. Maintain current level!】
【Friendly reminder: Upon leveling up, health, stamina, strength, agility, and mental power will all increase by a certain amount. Exhausted stamina will be restored!】
【Please make your choice within ten seconds whether to level up!】
【If no choice is made within the time limit, the guide will automatically select option 1, leveling up!】
【Countdown begins: 10 seconds!】
【Ten!】
…
Finally!
The long-awaited electronic voice sounded again.
Qi Ran exhaled deeply.
Although she had not completely exhausted her stamina during those five minutes, she did not hesitate for even a second.
At the very first second of the voice’s countdown, she decisively chose:
【1. Level up!】
The passionate electronic voice immediately responded.
At the same time, Qi Ran’s hands never paused in their relentless slaughter of zombies.
