“Boss! Are you saying... Liu Wei’s, good intentions?” Hearing Chen Ling’s thunderous shout, Zhang Long felt his mind go blank.
“Do you all really think a single 'Flame Burst Orb' could have such power???”
Only then did the players realize, no matter how much the boss’s strength increased, it was impossible for its attack to be so devastating—it had wiped out all the 'Flame Rock Soldiers' besieging Liu Wei! Zhang Long snapped back to his senses, trembling as he asked, “Was it Liu Wei who did it?”
“It should be. Though I don’t know how... he pulled it off!” Xing Ye said quietly. No matter how indifferent he tried to appear, Chen Ling could sense the sorrow in his heart.
Ding Mo, always righteous and outspoken, finally let out a sigh of relief... “Damn! That almost scared me to death... Zhang Long, you’re next after Liu Wei!!”

In three minutes, all players will be teleported to—Steel City, Capital of the Sky Dragon.’
‘Congratulations for delivering the final blow to boss 'Scorching Earth'. You receive an extra 400 Battle Souls, one Red Coin, one White Skill Upgrade Crystal! [Rock Helm] (Passive): upgrades with player’s level—one of the boss’s passive skills, boosts defense; Level 2 Scroll [Earth Guardian]: one-time item, creates an earth-attribute shield to protect the player. Rewards distributed!’
“200 + 400 Battle Souls, one Red Coin... I hit the jackpot! Hahahahaha!!” As expected, the reward for the final blow was generous!
With 600 Battle Souls plus those earned from defeating 'Flame Rock Soldiers', Chen Ling now had nearly 700 Battle Souls...
