Chapter 8: Taking Action!
“Y-You… don’t think that just because you’re someone important in the Wild Wolf Gang, we’re afraid of you!”
“I advise you not to be so arrogant. This isn’t the Wild Wolf Gang’s territory! If you push us too far, it won’t end well for anyone!”
“We came to the Grand Xuan Inn to eat and give face to the Wild Wolf Gang. Is this how your Grand Xuan Inn treats its guests?”
The ten guests inside the private room were furious. Several men of notable status spoke coldly. They had only come to dine and hadn’t provoked the Wild Wolf Gang; they didn’t expect the gang to harm them.
But the young man before them was unbearably arrogant and overbearing. If the beautiful waitress hadn’t warned them that this boy was from the Wild Wolf Gang and of a significant status, they might have already lost their patience and beaten Jiang Fan badly.
“Looking for a fight!” Jiang Fan wasted no words. He swung a chair and smashed it toward the burly man at the forefront, who was startled and quickly dodged.
Jiang Fan didn’t continue the assault. His goal was simply to cause trouble at the Grand Xuan Inn and incur the wrath of the steward Ling, not to offend these ordinary people.
He held the chair and said coldly, “I’ll say it one last time—everyone get lost, or don’t blame me for being ruthless!”
“Fine, we’ll leave! We won’t come to the Grand Xuan Inn again!”
“That’s right, the Wild Wolf Gang is way too overbearing. If we can’t afford to offend them, can’t we at least avoid them?”
“What bad luck! If I ever come to a Wild Wolf Gang inn again, I’m not a real man…”
Seeing how fierce Jiang Fan was, although these people were furious, they grumbled and left grudgingly.
The beautiful waitress’s expression had turned extremely unpleasant. She quickly gave a look to another waitress nearby, signaling her to attend to the ten guests offended by Jiang Fan. Meanwhile, she hurried over to Jiang Fan and said, “M-Master, I’ll clean up your room right away and bring you the best wine and dishes!”
“There’s too much bad luck here; I can’t eat. Change the room,” Jiang Fan said coldly and mercilessly, then strode to the next private room.
The surrounding guests, who had been watching the drama unfold and gossiping, hurried back into their own rooms, promptly closing their doors and silently praying not to attract Jiang Fan’s wrath.
Bang!
Silently channeling the “Evergreen Wood Spring Technique,” Jiang Fan guided the faint green energy from his dantian to his right foot, then kicked the nearest private room’s door.

With a thunderous crash, the door was kicked open, not shattered but severely warped.
The terrifying force moved Jiang Fan himself.
It seemed his cultivation of the “Evergreen Wood Spring Technique” was not without merit. At least his physique had strengthened, and the energy at his dantian could be wielded against enemies, making his power formidable.
This was the strength of mastering the second level of the technique. If he reached higher levels, the results would be even more astonishing.
“Ah!” a woman inside the room screamed in fright.
Soon after, the sounds of a child crying softly emerged from the private room.
“What… what are you doing?” a middle-aged man shouted furiously, standing up with eyes full of hatred. Had he not just learned about Jiang Fan’s special identity, he might have already charged forward to confront him.
Jiang Fan was utterly outrageous—kicking open a private room door and startling his wife and child. Under normal circumstances, any man would be unable to tolerate such behavior.
But Jiang Fan’s identity was enough to make him wary.
“All of you get lost! I’m here to eat today, so you can forget about eating!” Jiang Fan said coldly. Under his icy and fierce gaze, the eight people inside the room, though filled with resentment, dared not linger and hurriedly left with their families.
At this moment, Jiang Fan opened his mind to check the “Great Dao Celestial Book.” It still only displayed the name “Liu Renyi,” which brought him relief—otherwise, adding some ordinary people wouldn’t have much significance.
“M-Master! Have you… have you chosen where to eat yet? If this continues, our Grand Xuan Inn’s business might…” the beautiful waitress forced down her fear and whispered.
“Why do you meddle so much? Isn’t this Grand Xuan Inn territory of my Wild Wolf Gang? I do as I please!” Jiang Fan said coldly as he headed toward the next private room.
“Stop! Who dares cause trouble in the Wild Wolf Gang’s territory? Don’t want to live anymore?” At that moment, an angry shout came from behind. A middle-aged man, tall and burly, dressed in a black uniform, stood firm.
Behind him were six more men in black uniforms, all with fierce expressions.
“They’re the Grand Xuan Inn’s guards. This is going to be interesting!” someone shouted loudly. Immediately, the doors of the second-floor private rooms opened, and a crowd of guests peeked out.
“Whoever dares look again, I’ll gouge his eyes out,” Jiang Fan said coldly as if he hadn’t noticed the seven guards.

Hearing Jiang Fan’s words, the guests quickly ducked their heads in fear.
“You brat! You’re so arrogant; does your mother know this?” the tall lead guard said coldly. He obviously already knew Jiang Fan’s identity. The beautiful waitress who had sent away the ten guests must have told him something.
Yet he still dared to speak this way to Jiang Fan, clearly relying on some backing.
If he had any backing, it was probably the yet unseen steward Ling.
“What do you think you are? How dare you talk to me like that? My master is Xu Xian of the Wild Wolf Gang—what can you do to me?” Jiang Fan said, shaking the black token in his hand.
“Hmph! You’re just Xu Xian’s disciple? I thought you were someone important! You lot, take him down! I’ll personally teach him a lesson in place of Xu Xian!” the burly middle-aged man said coldly.
“Brat! You’re really blind, causing trouble here of all places—our Grand Xuan Inn. You’re asking for trouble!”
“It’s been a while since I’ve moved my limbs. Let me have a good stretch today! Let’s see what special about Xu Xian’s disciple.”
“When we catch you, we’ll make sure you suffer!”
The six guards in black uniforms advanced together, snarling as they moved to attack.
Jiang Fan shouted loudly, “Steward Ling, you lowly steward, how dare you let these scum move against me? Tell your master Xu Xian I’ll wipe out your whole family!”
Yet no one answered. The six men swung their clubs and struck at him.
Jiang Fan realized that Ling steward likely did not fear him, nor Xu Xian, or he wouldn’t dare act so boldly. Knowing this, Jiang Fan felt no fear—instead, he was secretly pleased. He knew he had come to the right place.
This steward Ling’s identity was probably even more complicated than he had imagined…
