The most crucial areas had been renovated, and what remained were mere trifles. If it didn’t affect the details, Chen Gu would let it be. With the final building modified, the entire Silverpine Vale lit up. Though its residents were gone, the place brimmed with vitality. Standing inside the Council Hall, Chen Gu could feel the valley’s resurgence.

At that moment, new information about Silverpine Vale appeared above the Heart of the City.

Note: Under the influence of mysterious forces, this city has now taken after your image. All its residents have learned one thing: to keep pets.

Then the Heart of the City settled back atop the basin where it had once rested, appearing just as it did when Chen Gu first saw it. Yet now, he knew Silverpine Vale was his. There was nothing else to consider.

Chen Gu was about to pick up the crystal that housed Allen. But at that moment, he noticed the Hero’s Token he had been holding had crumbled to pieces. He paused, then quickly understood why. By claiming the city and changing its allegiance, the Elven Kingdom’s control over Silverpine Vale had vanished. The Hero’s Token could no longer influence the city in any way.

Immediately, a new territory information panel appeared before him:

[Territory Name: None
Capital: Silverpine Vale (Level 3)
Suburbs: None
Resources: Gold 716, Stone 0, Wood 13, Metal 3, Food 0, Mercury 0, Crystal 0, Gems 0, Sulfur 0
Wilderness Camp: Wolf Mountain (Level 1)
Wilderness Resources: None
Roads: None
Outposts: 1
Safe Zone: 0.009%]

Both the previous city information and the current territory panel made one thing clear: Silverpine was now Chen Gu’s.

Laughing heartily, he picked up the crystal from the ground and pushed open the doors to the Council Hall. From the threshold, he could see the entirety of Silverpine City. Every structure, every function, was laid bare before his eyes.

Now, Silverpine was fully alight. Apart from the functional buildings and creature camps, the rest were residences and shops. Lights glimmered outside every doorway, and a glance was all it took to read the signs and know each building’s purpose.

After a brief survey, Chen Gu ascended the steps behind the Council Hall toward the third floor, where the Hero Altar was located.

As he climbed, he noticed that the bushes lining the path—meant as ornamental greenery—were aglow with firefly-like lights. Upon closer inspection, he saw miniature wooden cottages, a bit smaller than a fist, nestled among the shrubs. The lights emanated from within these cottages.

These were the Garden Cottages, the creature camps for Fairies, Dryads, and Blossom Sprites. And not only along this path; all the shrubbery along Silverpine’s roads served as creature camps.

A mere touch told Chen Gu that each Garden Cottage could yield five hundred Fairies, Dryads, and Blossom Sprites per week. They were Silverpine’s most fundamental workforce, handling cleaning, decoration, plant care, farm management, and logistics.

Of the five hundred produced weekly, the eighteen most magical Fairies, the eighteen strongest Dryads, and the eighteen most beautiful Blossom Sprites would be sent across the river to the garden district, awaiting recruitment by heroes to become their soldiers. The rest would serve as city residents.

Now, with Silverpine reactivated, so too were the Garden Cottages. Freshly awakened Fairies, Dryads, and Blossom Sprites fluttered from their tiny homes and began their tasks.

All three species were merely thumb-sized, yet each was fundamentally different. Fairies bore butterfly wings; Dryads, bee wings; and Blossom Sprites, delicate petals for wings. Their abilities were equally distinct.
