Chapter 95: Conquering the Campus

“Looking forward to you, my ass.” Tang Mu’s face remained cold and indifferent. If she ever crossed paths with Zi Yushu again in reality, she would surely devise every possible method to put him to death!
So as Tang Mu gazed at the man before her, whose figure was gradually fading and becoming ethereal amidst the flames, her expression never wavered from its icy hardness.
Until Zi Yushu’s loathsome face vanished completely—
Another scene unfolded before Tang Mu’s eyes.
It was the first time she had been with Yan Xingwen.
The hot water in the bathroom was still flowing down, steam continuously spreading from the bathroom into the room, wrapping the entire space in a warm, romantic atmosphere.
Tang Mu leaned lazily against the tall bar table in the center of the living room. The table was so high that when she sat on it, her toes barely touched the floor.
Because of the unsteady feeling from swaying, she had to shift her entire body weight onto Yan Xingwen.
Yan Xingwen stood on the marble floor wearing house slippers. His left hand roamed restlessly on Tang Mu’s waist, his gaze sticky and intent on the woman before him, dressed in a delicate red corseted cocktail dress. Meanwhile, his right hand persistently advanced toward the buttons on Tang Mu’s dress.
Every inch of him exuded possessiveness and aggression.
Tang Mu smiled and stopped his restless right hand, draping her arm over Yan Xingwen’s fair neck and strong shoulder—the very sight of which was especially tempting to her.
“The night is still long. Why the rush?”
She tilted her exquisite, pale neck high, like a queen looking down upon the man before her, whose eyes burned with desire.
“You want me now, but what if I refuse you?” Tang Mu traced his tender lips with her slender finger, slowly sliding upward, delicately outlining his facial features until she stopped at his finely shaped brows.
“We’ve known each other long enough; you should know I’m untamable. So even if I gave in now, you wouldn’t be able to control me.”
“And I’m a woman who can be cruel without hesitation.”
“For men who cannot control me, I always use them and then discard them.”
“So, do you still have the confidence to continue?”
From the man’s deep, magnetic throat came a sudden, pleasurable, husky voice.
In a room suffused with temptation and ambiguity, that husky tone stirred the heart irresistibly.
“I don’t need to promise you that I’m confident. I only need to make you feel it yourself.”
Hearing his answer, Tang Mu received no definite reply, but every sense in her body was heightened, making her exquisitely sensitive.

Yet she still struggled to maintain control.
She deliberately ignored Yan Xingwen’s aggressive gaze, slowly shifting her eyes from his lips to the pale, virile expanse between his neck and shoulder.
She had coveted this delectable spot for a long time.
Every time she saw him deliberately exposing it, she felt an urge to bite into it fiercely.
She wanted to leave her mark there, boldly declaring to everyone that he was Tang Mu’s man.
“So, will you reward me?” Yan Xingwen’s gaze deepened as he compelled Tang Mu to look away from his neck and back at him, signaling her not to be distracted by anything else—even if it came from himself.
“Let me correct you.”
A seductive curve lifted the corner of Tang Mu’s mouth. “It’s not a reward; it’s a blessing. I’m not your little princess—I’m your queen.”
—
The scene cut abruptly.
Suddenly, the game space was filled with drifting ashes.
They were remnants of burnt paper, like snowflakes. But unlike snow, which is white, these were gray.
Just like Tang Mu’s current mood.
If one has never seen the light, one can endure the darkness. But the cruelty of reality lies in experiencing perfect light before being cast back into darkness.
So, where exactly are you now? And which body are you inhabiting?
Exiting the game.
She planned to return to her lodging to rest well before starting a new game.
But unexpectedly, Qiao Yuan appeared again—like a stubborn piece of chewing gum, impossible to get rid of and deeply annoying.
Tang Mu intended to ignore him.
But Qiao Yuan insisted on coming over with an old iPad, forcing it in front of her.
Tang Mu looked at him coldly, clearly showing her disdain.
“Don’t resist so much,” he said, opening a video on the iPad for her. “I think you need to see this. It’s quite interesting.”

The footage was a complete playback of her clearing the game *Thrilling Campus: Sunny Doll.*
Qiao Yuan’s invasive behavior of spying on others’ privacy only worsened Tang Mu’s impression of him.
“Miss Tang Mu, do you know that when you finished this game, I spent a hefty sum watching it from start to finish? It was through this that I realized the hidden pain behind all your actions and behavior that defy ordinary logic.”
As he spoke, his expression turned unexpectedly somber.
“When I first met you, I found your sharpness off-putting. But after understanding you more deeply, I saw what you had endured behind that sharpness. And with your exquisite appearance...” He likened her to a canary, born to be caged delicately in someone’s palm...
Hearing Qiao Yuan’s words, Tang Mu had something to say.
“Mr. Qiao, I don’t know if you’re aware of one thing.”
Her voice was icy.
“Curiosity and pity are the beginnings of falling in love with a woman. Before you sink too deep, I advise you to look closely at what happened to your brother. That should serve as a warning for you.”
Qiao Yuan chuckled lightly.
“I’m not like my burly brother,” he said. “I admit I do care about you. But the fundamental reason for my concern is the A-You Association.”
He pulled up data on the old iPad and showed it to Tang Mu.
“The profits of A-You Association have recently fallen by 2.3%. Investors are unhappy. They say if profits continue to drop next quarter, they will withdraw investments and put their money into other associations. One of those is the A-Long Association, founded by Zi Yushu.”
When mentioning the A-Long Association, Qiao Yuan deliberately noticed Tang Mu’s expression sharpening instantly.
“You also know that S-level psychics are very rare. Even our boss hasn’t reached S-level.”
“Investors naturally focus on the capabilities of the leader who founded the association. If they want to leave, we’re powerless to stop them.”
“But if you join us, I can guarantee you’ll gain not only most of A-You Association’s assets and my personal fortune but even me.”
?
He had been making sense so far.
What was this at the end?
This curveball seemed to be heading straight for the heavens.
