Volume One: Hell-Level Lord World Chapter 130: Rapid Advancement
Chen Gu was right; by this point, he was already contemplating the establishment of legions. This idea had only taken root after the appearance of Zurich.
Chen Gu’s domain now encompassed several large cities, and with the activation of Longfeng City, he would gain control over numerous villages and towns. At this juncture, forming corresponding legions had become an imperative task.
In Chen Gu’s mind, this territory required at least four legions.
The first legion would be based around Longfeng City and the surrounding villages, classified as a Class B legion—one that could be deployed to the battlefield at a moment’s notice.
Next was the Forest Garden area, where at least two Class B legions could be formed. The Unicorns and Treants were obviously to be utilized separately.
There was also the existing Guard Legion, a standard Class A legion. The green dragons trained in the Forest Garden would likely be assigned here as a priority.
Constructing these four legions, however, posed significant pressure on Chen Gu.
For one, the heroes needed to command these legions could not simply be conjured at will. Chen Gu had to employ various means to recruit or convert heroes.
Then there were the unique unit types and characteristics each legion required.
Finally, these legions needed to be battle-tested. Without the baptism of war, they would be mere cannon fodder.
All these matters were troublesome.
Chen Gu did not believe he could resolve everything quickly.
It seemed that for a long time to come, his focus would be devoted to building these legions.
Yet, there was a silver lining.
Once the four legions were established, Chen Gu could launch a three-front offensive, pacifying the southern territories of the Lord World with greater ease.
As his lands expanded, so too would the number of legions at his disposal.
Chen Gu was confident that once he secured the southern region, he would command ten fully organized legions.
Although he might not be able to face the undead in a final battle yet, capturing the Holy City would be no problem.
With the Holy City secured, and its over two hundred thousand water elementals along with a lake of holy water, Chen Gu could immediately field ten holy water elemental legions.
With such power, reclaiming the elven territories would be assured.
Once the original elven lands were recovered, Chen Gu planned to turn his attention toward the lands once held by humans.
These lands had been the first to fall to the undead and formed the core of the Nyulen Empire.
Most of the empire’s cities were built within this region.
Previously, the three major continental battlegrounds between elves and humans—the original human capital and three level-11 human cities—had all been transformed into undead cities.
Adding to this was the Nyulen Empire’s capital, Black Fortress, with its massive army numbering between three to five million troops.
All these factors weighed heavily on Chen Gu’s mind.
Before, he lacked the ability to form legions and therefore had not considered these matters so far ahead.
Now, everything was different. With the capability to organize legions, Chen Gu could strategize how to counter these forces and arrange his legions more effectively.
With such thoughts, Chen Gu set off from Longfeng City in his vine-drawn carriage.
In the following days, he visited a series of farms previously occupied by Pan.
Through his alchemical methods, Chen Gu effortlessly converted all these farms into mechanical farms.
[Wilderness Camp—Mechanical Farm (Green)]
Level: 1 (Max Level 5)
Units:
Fire Spirit Ravens (Level 1, produce 16+7 weekly)
Plow Rats (Level 1, produce 25+9 weekly)
Blade Wolves (Level 2, produce 9+6 weekly, recruitment cost: 6 gold)
Scarecrows (Level 2, produce 9+6 weekly, recruitment cost: 8 gold)
Output:
Food (50 units per week), Gold (300 coins per week)
Description: After numerous modifications, these farms have reached the upper limit of their green quality; further enhancement is impossible.
Chen Gu had invested considerable effort into upgrading the mechanical farms this time.
He spent nearly the entire day working on them, resting only briefly in the carriage.
Even the farms that Pan had temporarily abandoned were gradually brought under his control.
In just one day, Chen Gu secured over a hundred farms.
His approach was consistent—regardless of other factors, he combined the designated unit types and transformed all farms into mechanical farms.
The farms varied in level; the lowest were Level 1, producing roughly the outputs listed above.
However, the Level 5 farms were a different matter altogether.
Level 5 farms could produce 106 Fire Spirit Ravens, 159 Plow Rats, 55 Blade Wolves, and 43 Scarecrows weekly, along with 500 units of food and 1,500 gold coins.
This was several times the output of a Level 1 farm.
Chen Gu was tempted to upgrade every farm to Level 5 directly, but reconsidered—such undertakings were beyond his immediate capacity.
Beyond resource constraints, some farms’ land areas simply could not be expanded.
Upon returning to the Forest Garden, the villages and towns under Longfeng City’s jurisdiction were being activated one by one.
However, as Chen Gu had suspected, these villages and towns lacked both resources and heroes.
At present, only the City Hearts had been activated, but they remained unattended.
The only noticeable change was in Chen Gu’s domain interface, where the data looked more promising.

[Note: Safe zones exceeding 5% of the total Lord World area enable domain naming!]
The domain’s condition was acceptable, but the possibility of naming the domain came as a surprise.
Curious, Chen Gu clicked to investigate and discovered that this was not about naming the entire domain but rather about dividing it into sectors.
